J&R has developed
the Membership Minder. The Membership Minder is a stand alone or client server application
that is available now and can be purchased to manage the membership
needs of an organization.

The Membership Minder serves as an organization's Membership Manager, Dues Manager, Accounts Receivable, Event Manager, Committee Manager, and
Mailing and Rolodex Label Generator. It even is a source of revenue for an
organization because
the membership address information can be sold as mailing labels to other businesses.
The system runs on a stand alone computer or network. It is compatible with Windows
based operating systems.
The single user version costs $250 and the network version costs $500.
The Membership Minder has been verified by Veritest for Windows XP
compatibility. The application also runs on Windows 98, Windows ME,
and Windows 2000.
Membership Manager
This module allows you to keep information on members and non-members alike. Basic
information such business name, owner, address, and phone number are stored . Members
can be searched on by their profession, business, name, and owner's name. All events a member
has attended, all accounts receivable a member has, and all committees the member is on and has been
on are viewable from the Member Profile screen.
Dues Manager
This module allows you to run reports against the dues information you have entered in the
system. These reports include current dues status, dues history, and renewals by month.
Accounts Receivable
This module allows you to create an accounts receivable entry and then assign members to
it. Viewing an accounts receivable gives you the overall picture of how much is outstanding,
who owes, and gives you the option to generate invoices. Invoices have customizable
messages.
Event Manager
This module allows you to create an event entry and then assign members to it. Viewing an
event gives you the overall picture of how much is outstanding, who is attending, who still owes,
and gives you the option to generate invoices. Invoices have customizable messages.
Committee Manager
This module allows you to create a committee entry and then assign members and non-members
to it. Viewing the committee shows you the members, phone numbers, and allows you to run a
list of the members.
Mailing and Rolodex Label Generator
This module allows you to create Avery mailing and rolodex labels. The labels are customizable
for the size you use.
Extras
Extra's in the system include:
- Extraction option of the members to a comma delimited file or Microsoft Access database.
- Hypertext generation of the members for use in a web page.
